Deep Need
Marylin Houle
With intense need does the
pinch, so carefully fingered
recieve its consecration for the
coming work and into its
cast iron vessel beneath the
breath of a prayer, whispered
in intent charge emotion
Deosil does she blend this
concoctment of tincture,
brew and liquid love
Only the bark of apple permeates
the quarters in which things
with gentle reverance do keep gaurd
In quiet contemplation does
she become filled with fire
and passion - creations of desire
A drop of sweat, or a tear?
drips slowly and surely into
her brew and the release of
power begins and ends in a
place where space and day are
interwoven into a single
reality with which she breifly
touches, retreives magic, and
becomes her deepest need.
