Friends...

What do you suppose it means?
Are you ready to drop your ego into the ditch where it belongs?
Can you step inside my shoes?
Would you trust me to help you
Or will I read paranoia and fear and selfishness as your primary motivation?

Friendship Sampler

We are on a literary journey with no stopping at the deepest blue of the sky.
Can you join us?
Can you dream and then live the dream?
If you are scared of letting us know who you are then should we trust you?
The literary movements of the past: The Lost Generation, The Beat Generation, etc. were all started not by New York publishing houses but by small groups of friends who shared their love for writing and for literature and who helped each other fulfill their common goals and their independent goals. We may as well state here that we have these same intentions. If you can't handle that sort of heat then you needn't be standing around in our kitchen. If you are intrigued, then you can do the dinner time shuffle on our kitchen's green linoleum.

If you join the smiths and then decide to quit, we have a no-hard-feelings policy and probably won't beg you to stay. You will remain as free as you were when you walked in the door.

The MadWordsmiths are the Soul Engravers of Atsoise. We have been around for several years and have developed our friendships. There is still room for more people here. We are from all over the English-speaking world. You may be one of us and not yet know it. If you have read to this point, you might wonder why you don't click the mouse and join us. Our Black Ship doesn't pull into just any port. We could use a few able bodied sailors, yet, but I am satisfied better with a handful of real friends and real warriors than a group of hundreds of names who never give anything of themselves. This group is the most supportive writers' group you may ever find. We welcome a good ramble. We are poets and lovers, philosophers and novelists, artists and prisoners and sailors and musicians, we are dancers and electric spirits. Are you one of us?
